ICICI Bank opens its branch in Leicester

The ICICI Bank UK Ltd recently opened its branch for business in Leicester, which also happens to be the heart of Britain's Asian community. KV Kamath, MD & CEO of ICICI Bank Ltd, inaugurated the branch, which is situated in a prominent location on Melton Road. Prominent members of the Asian and business community attended the launch.

Speaking on the occasion, KV Kamath said "I am delighted to announce the opening of our branch in Leicester, which historically is an important hub for Asian people in Britain. As a full service UK bank with strong Indian links, we believe we are in a unique position to become the preferred provider of financial services for the NRI & PIO community in the UK"

Sonjoy Chatterjee, MD & CEO of ICICI Bank UK Ltd said: "Our customers can expect the same services as other high street banks, but at more competitive rates. I want in particular, to bring your attention to our choice of Remittance services and Deposit products. As part of our mainstream product offerings, we have recently launched HiSAVE, an online savings product offering one of UK's best savings rate at 5.40% AER."

The Leicester branch will remain open from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm.
