MUMBAI: The Mangalore-headquartered Corporation Bank has elected six shareholders directors against six vacancies, caused by completion of term of existing nominees on July 24.
Announcing this, the Bank said that the new shareholder directors would have tenure of three years effective up to July 25, 2008.
The new directors are Messrs S Ravi, Ramakant Vashishtha, Dr C Ramakrishna Kamath, P M Sirajuddin, Kalyana Sundaram Sridhar and Hiren Mehta.
Since the number of valid candidates and the situations vacant are equal, the six aforementioned candidates are deemed to be elected as directors of the bank as per Regulation 66(i) and also deemed to have assumed office as directors of the bank with eff ect from July 27, 2005.
