Akhil Bharat Konkani Parishad to Celebrate Founding Day at Karwar on July 8

The Akhil Bharat Konkani Parishad will celebrate its founding day on Friday, July 8 in the Daivajnya Brahmana Kalyana Mantap hall, at Karwar.

B B Rane, former Maharashtra minister of state, will preside over the function. Ramesh S Prabhu, advocate, will be the chief guest, while Dr Tanaji Halarnakar and Nagesh Karmali of Goa will be the guests of honour.

The function is organized jointly by Akhil Bharat Konkani Parishad, Konkani Sanskriti Mandala, Sadashivghad and Konkani Bhasha ani Sanskriti Kendra.

An official of the Akhil Bharat Konkani Parishad organizing committee informed that the parishad on Sunday, July 10, in Goa, will inaugurate a session to discuss the silver jubilee celebration preparations.
