: Nairobi

Area : 582,646 square km (1 km = 0.62 miles), of which less than 20 percent is arable. Kenya is bordered by Ethiopia and Sudan to the north, Uganda to the west, Tanzania to the south and Somalia and the Indian Ocean to the east.
The official languages are English and Swahili, but there are more than 50 languages in use. The main categories are Bantu (including Kikuyu) and Kamba. Punjabi, Gujarati, Konkani and Arabic are spoken in some communities of Asian origin.
