Goa Konkani Akademi (GKA) has invited proposals for the production of Konkani musical programmes, under its scheme ‘Financial assistance for promotion of music’. This scheme is open for classical and modern Konkani music. Institutions and individuals working in the field of Konkani music can send their proposals under this scheme giving full details of their production and performance.
Akademi will give financial assistance only for the production of such musical programmes and only for one performance. Those who have already sent their proposals earlier, requesting for the financial assistance need not send again, as their proposals will be kept before the scrutinizing committee along with the new proposals.
The application forms specifying the norms and conditions of this scheme are available in the Akademi’s Panaji office. The last date of submitting the forms is July 31.
