Sudheendra Theertha coming

Kashi Matadhipathi Sudheendra Theertha Swamigal, the spiritual leader of the Gowda Saraswatha Brahmins, will arrive here at 6 pm on November 8 on his way to Kanyakumari.

The Swamiji will be given a traditional reception with Poornakumbham on his arrival. He will camp at the Narasimhavilas Prarthana Mandiram near the Secretariat on November 8 night and leave for Kanyakumari at 4 pm on November 9.

A 25-member reception committee has been formed here to discuss the steps to be taken for the successful conduct of the Swami’s visit here after a gap of six years. K.G. Mohandas Pai, M.V. Gopinatha Pai, P. Gopinatha Kamath, A. Govinda Pai, P.K. Nandalal Shenoy, C.G. Sudhakara Rao and K.S. Prabhu were among those who attended the meeting.
