Dear Bandhavas,
GSBs have some great traditions and heritage that they will be always proud about. Its good to see those colours, smell that fragrance, and taste the richness that expresses in our traditions.
Among the events that we are all proud of, are our chariot festivals at various temples across India, particularly along the coast. I had the privilege of photographing an entire overnight event at the Holy Mulki Venkataramana Temple. The event was that of Prathishta poornima, the day when Lord UgraNarasimha's Idol of Vijayanagara Origin was consecrated at the temple by Shrimad Vijayendra Teertha Swamiji.
I am pleased to forward you all the photographs and description of the event. Hope you all like the same.
I am grateful to the Generous God and the Kind priests and trustees of the temple, who gave me this privilege, so that many of us spread across the world could see the grandeur of the event and attend it in person!

Feel free to leave comments and pass on the link to those who are interested. Those who are interested in sending Kanika to the temple can get the details from me. The temple trust also runs scholarship schemes for poor and deserving students.
Warm Regards,
