Dr T M A Pai Best Konkani Book Award-2005 for Prakash Padgaonkar

Dr T M A Pai Best Konkani Book Award-2005 will be presented to writer Prakash Padgaonkar, Bardez-Goa, for his book ‘Vhaunti Nhai Kallachi,’ at a function on April 8 at Nehru Memorial Library Hall, Manipal.

Dr T M A Pai Foundation, Manipal, has instituted the award.

On the occasion ‘Appreciation Awards 2004-05’ will also be presented to Balchandra P Gaonkar, Ponda, for ‘Dongrache Avonde,’ Nayana Adarkar, Vasco-Da-Gama, for ‘Man Sanvar,’ George Pinto Aikol (posthumous) for ‘Porot Porot’ and Jyothi Kunkolikar, Marcel-Goa, for ‘Kannyadaan’.
