GETIT to expand Kerala operations

Kozhikode: Tele-information provider, GETIT Infomediary Ltd today announced plans to expand its operations in Kerala with launching of services in three more cities in the state soon.

As a first step, the company, which brought out its first edition of Yellow Pages with the telephone directory in Ernakulam in 1991, launch its services, including printed yellow pages directories 24-hour tele-information, CD ROMs and websites in the city in the second quarter of 2006, General Manager (Operations) K D Kini told reporters here.

GETIT, which has already introduced directories in 28 cities in the country, would also be launching its products, in Thiruvanthapuram and Kottyam, he said.

He said the company plans to distribute over 50,000 copies of GETIT yellow pages and CD ROMs door-to-door to affluent households, business and industrial houses across Kozhikode, Malappuram and Wayanad districts.
