UDUPI: The district unit of Indian Catholic Youth Movement (ICYM) with an objective to instil pride about Konkani language in youths will be organising a district-level Konkani dance competition on October 12.
The contest is being organised under the aegis of Karkala ICYM wing at Attur Souharda Hall.
The contest is also open to teams from ICYM and the membership strength should not exceed more than 12.
Contestants have to pay an entry fee of Rs 200 and only group events are eligible for the contest, a press release said and added that winners besides cash awards will also get trophies.
